EIL Friends Cooperative Group Housing Society Limited. was registered under Delhi Cooperative Societies Act 1972 vide registration No. 2012 Dated 23.01-1990. The Bye Laws of the Society were filed duly registered by the Society with registrar, Cooperative Societies Delhi. To this effect a certificate of registration was issued by the Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies Delhi on 31-01-1990.

DDA agreed to allot a piece of land to the society under DDA’s Avas Sakar Yogna for which the Society members had to cancel their registration with the DDA New Pattern Scheme 1979.

A piece of land measuring 4561.373 square meter at Plot No. 13 of Pocket 06, Nasirpur Dwarka-Phase 1, New Delhi was allotted to the society by DDA in 1995 and possession was handed over on 09-02-1995. A perpetual lease deed was executed in the name of EIL Friends Cooperative Group Housing Society Ltd on 23-04-1996 in respect of 4561.373 square meters of land.

M/s R.K. & Associates were selected as the Society Architect who submitted the Layout plan and building drawings for the Society to the Delhi Urban Art Commission DDA New Delhi. The society received sanction letter No. F-23(26)95/Bldg/135 dated 30-05-1996 from DDA for the construction of 60 dwelling units on the Society Plot No. 13 of Pocket 06, NaseerPur Dwarka Phase-1, New Delhi-110045.

M/s R.K. & Associates shared construction of Society building in 1996 and built three blocks consisting of 30 flats of 3 BHK category and one block of 29 flats of 2BHK and 1 flat of 1BHK category. All blocks are four storeyed, interconnected and equipped with lifts and stairs.

Draw of lots for allotment of flats to each member was held in the Society premises in the year 1999 in the presence of the DDA Officials. Physical possession of the flats allotted was handed over the to respective members in the year 2000 by DDA vide their letter no. F7*(429)/90/GH/DDA/387 dated 12-03-1999.

The society has a managing committee consisting of executive members i.e. President, Vice president, Secretary, Treasurer and nine MC members for taking care of day to day affairs of the society with the cooperation of residents and all the helping staff of the Society. The society has got facility of one hall to hold meetings and family programmes. The society has a sufficient open space for the parking and outdoor functions. There is also a central park in the middle of the society. The society is surrounded by a concrete safety boundary wall all around the premises. There is an automated power back-up Gen Set in the society to cater the power supply during power cuts. There is excellent connectivity with Metro and other Public transport. The society is running in a safe round the clock secure, healthy and lovable peaceful environment.
